If you receive a Hangout Dreamspot tax statement, here are some steps to take:

  1. Review the statement: Verify the information, ensuring it’s accurate and complete.
  2. Understand the tax forms: Familiarize yourself with the tax forms and what they represent.
  3. Consult a tax professional: If you’re unsure about how to interpret the income or claim deductions, consider consulting a tax professional.
  4. Report income on tax return: Include the income from the Hangout Dreamspot tax statement on your tax return.
  5. Claim deductions: Claim allowable deductions related to your Hangout Dreamspot hosting activity (e.g., expenses for cleaning supplies, utilities).

  7. Address any discrepancies: If you notice errors or discrepancies on the tax statement, contact Hangout Dreamspot support.

Remember, tax laws and regulations vary by location, so consult a tax professional or local authorities if you’re unsure about specific requirements.

You can’t split the total cost of your Hangout Dreamspot stay or experience across multiple payment methods. However, here are some payment options you can consider.

  • Pay over time with Paypal or Stripe: They are payment platforms with all major debit and credit cards, excluding prepaid cards and are accepted internationally.
  • Part pay: You’ll pay the total upon confirmation, and the remaining balance will be automatically charged on the date(s) listed at checkout for monthly stays.
  • Monthly stays: For reservations of 28 nights or more, you’ll be charged for the first month upon confirmation. After that, you’ll be charged the remainder in monthly installments.
  • Scheduled payments: You can check when you’ll be charged for upcoming payments by reviewing your receipt.
  • Editing, removing, or adding a payment method: You can update your payment method, add a new payment method or remove an existing payment method from your account.

Keep in mind that you can’t remove a payment method if it’s being used on a pending or active reservation or a past reservation that ended less than 14 days ago.

If an existing payment method on your account is incorrect (ex: an expired credit card), you can update it or add a new payment method.

Edit a payment method for upcoming payments:
If you have an existing reservation with payments scheduled for a future date, such as a monthly stay, you can change the payment method for the scheduled future payments.

Note: The payment method can only be changed for scheduled future payments. It’s not possible to change the payment method for the initial payment made when the reservation is confirmed.

Remove a payment method:

You can remove a payment method from your account unless it’s being used on a pending or active reservation or a past reservation that ended less than 14 days ago. You also can’t remove your payment method if your Host has requested a reimbursement from you and Hangout Dreamspot is reviewing their request.

All is done on the Account settings !

Additional Tips

– Many hotel chains have reservation guarantees in case of overbooking or closure.
– You can also aim to avoid Hangout Dreamspot cancellations entirely by not booking accommodations on Hangout Dreamspot

That’s frustrating! If you forgot something at a place you stayed, here are some steps you can take:

  1. Contact the host: Reach out to the host via Hangout Dreamspot messaging or their provided contact information. Let them know what you left behind and ask if they’ve found it.
  2. Check with the cleaning staff: If the host doesn’t have your item, ask if they can check with their cleaning staff or anyone else who may have accessed the space.
  3. Arrange retrieval or shipping: If the host finds your item, ask if they can mail it to you or if you can pick it up. Offer to cover any shipping costs.
  4. Check with local lost and found: If the host doesn’t have your item, ask if they know of any local lost and found services or nearby businesses that may have turned in your item.
  5. Consider re-tracing your steps: Think about your activities and movements during your stay. You might remember leaving the item at a nearby restaurant, attraction, or transportation hub.

Remember to act quickly, as the sooner you contact the host, the more likely you are to recover your forgotten item!

If you haven’t heard back from the host, it’s generally best to wait until you receive confirmation or a response from them before booking. Here are some reasons why:

  1. Availability: The host may not have updated their calendar, and the space might not be available for your dates.
  2. Pricing: The host may need to confirm the pricing or provide a special offer, which could affect your booking.
  3. House rules: The host may have specific rules or requirements that you need to agree to before booking.
  4. Cancellation policies: You want to understand the host’s cancellation policies before committing to a booking.

However, if you’re using Hangout Dreamspot”Instant Book” feature, your booking will be automatically confirmed, and you’ll receive a confirmation email.

If you haven’t heard back from the host within a reasonable time frame (usually 24-48 hours), you can:

  1. Send a follow-up message: Politely ask if they’re available to confirm your booking.
  2. Look for alternative options: Consider other listings that meet your needs.
  3. Contact Hangout Dreamspot support: Reach out to Hangout Dreamspot customer support for assistance or guidance.

Remember, it’s always better to wait for confirmation from the host before booking to ensure a smooth and successful stay!
